Hi Guys

My drivers side headlight is full of condensation. Does anyone know the easiest way to clear it up and stop it from happening again?

Cheers :)

Try putting a bag of silica gel in the light to absorb the moisture.

You can also dry it out with a hairdryer :)

Happens on hot days when there is direct sunlight on them.

If possible park with your back to the sun or in a shaded area and this prevents it from happening.

Unfortunately its a problem with the design and getting new lights is only a temp fix because they all do it. New lights may even do it straight out of the box.

Not a problem though as it doesnt affect the lights

I had the same problem last year, to dry the unit out i would remove it from the car and place it in direct sunlight in the garden, within 45min it was completely dry.

I was never able to stop it from gettting water inside, i tried resealing the edge which failed.

In the end i purchased another light second hand.

The only other thing that i could think of was that the detachable rubber seal behind the bulbs was not sealing airtight. I never got to put this to the test as i got a new light.
