Aygo brake discs

Hello,

New to the forum here. I purchased a 2020 Aygo X-trend back at the start of March and used it almost daily until the UK lockdown.

Haven’t driven it in about 2 and a half weeks and thought I’d go and start it up for a little while. I noticed that the break disks had rust on the outer and inner edges.

Firstly, is this something to worry about?

Secondly, would it be a good idea to drive it round the block once or twice every couple of days to keep it from accumulating more rust?

Thanks

Dont worry, first drive out will rub the rust off.

If its been sat with water around it it will rust take it for a drive and use brakes but rust on the edges won't effect the brakes
