Can you add cruise control to 2010 Toyota hiace?

i was wondering if anyone knows if I can add cruise control to a 2010 Toyota hiace? Can you just add a cruise control stalk and plug in? If so does anyone know what part is needed and how to do it. I know it’s a lot to ask but any help would be great.

If you check other CC topis, most of the topics suggest to try and see, no one guarantees it will work.

The stalks can be bought even for 20 GBP on Aliexpress, for example (if it exists for your model), so it's a cheap enough thing to try.

If you want to see if the part exists for your car, you can go to japan-parts.eu and search using your vin, you should be able to identify the CC stalk and part number, if it's there.

Press the Cruise Control Button on the Steering Wheel.
Reach Your Desired Cruise Control Speed.
Press the SET Button to Set Your Speed.
Press the +/- Buttons to Increase or Decrease Speed.
Press CANCEL or Apply Brakes to Cancel Cruise Control.

I've had it added to my 1996 Granvia, cost around £175 works well.

I wouldn't do it on a drive by wire car. If you really want it, you can probably get all the appropriate parts from the junk yard to install factory cruise control for not a whole lot of money. I wouldn't be surprised if all it needed were the steering wheel buttons plugged in, being drive by wire the hardware is all already there.
