In case you dont find it, maybe try one of the sets with different sizes, usually you can find one that fits in those.

The rubber "O" rings are just dust seals designed to stop water/dirt from entering from outside there are compressible washers that seal the injector to the head these contain the combustion within the bore not the "O" rings see pic attached, 11176 is the washer with the "O" ring above to refit the injectors you will need:

4x 96721-19017 "O" ring

4x 11176-26010 seal

make sure you remove all 4 washers as you cannot double them up.

Check your local Toyota dealer as we are slowly staring to open again or a local diesel injection specialist

hello,

i have avensis d4d 2.0 with all 4 fuel injectors bad, whole body of injectors has gone bad. I have denso injectors not Bosch.

How and where do i get used fuel injectors? I don't need only part that can be changed but whole fuel injector that works, taken from car that was in a crash or something like that. Because 4 new injectors from toyota cost around 2.500e.

How can i find them and be sure that they are fully working? I saw few on eBay.co.uk but i am not completely sure if they work and i am not from UK.

Any info would be helpful, thank you.

Others can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that getting a set of injectors from a scrapyard etc would be possible, but they would have to be caliberated via software which can only happen at a good independent dealer or a main dealer only which will cost

unfortunately there isn't really a cheap fix as such

Hello mate,

I am led to believe one of the best companies in the UK to deal with are Feather Diesels Halifax and comes well recommended, I have no connection with this company. Maybe an email or phone call to them may point you in the right direction but as jas16 says they can only be fitted by a Toyota dealer or someone like Feather Diesels who have the equipment on site.

Regards Pete.

Any of the Denso dealers will help, PF Jones in Manchester for instance. They have to be programmed to your car

Oh thanks for fast replays, this forum is really active :)

I sent emails to those companies.

feather-diesle says they are repairing broken injectors. My whole injector if flawed, not just the thing on the end, but the body and electronics of fuel injector.

My avensis works fine when started, but it won't start when its hot, i need to wait for 1h to cool down.

Did someone bought refurbished and used fuel injectors before?

PM your chassis number, as Toyota have started to offer reconditioned injectors so there may be a factory approved reconditioned injector available for your car.

Not sure where feather source their injectors from, but Toyota have introduced reconditioned exchange injectors on some models but I would need a chassis number to confirm if they offer the option on your car

Hi Steven,

It might be worth giving this fellow a call.

Jon Pick, who is a Diesel fuel specialist. He helped me source 4 denso injectors and seals for my 2.2 D4D.

I have contacted him to ask his permission to pass on his contact details.

Mobile number 07974 681667.

I hope this helps if you haven't already fixed the problem.
