Discovered a Switch, no idea what it does!

When cleaning the car today I came across a switch in the boot area, no idea what it does though. Looked in the manual but haven't seen it mentioned anywhere. Anybody able to help me out, its on the nearside panel in the boot area

It's definitely not factory fitted switch, I'm afraid only previous owner would know what it was for.

Could be to turn off reversing sensors when towing.

Yes, it's to turn off the dealer fit reverse sensors, you rarely see the switch fitted tho

Similar to the rear parking sensor switch fitted to my last Auris and my Aygo.

Tried it this morning, it does switch off the reversing sensors, thanks for the help.

I got fooled by that once on a Prius+. Made a fool of myself when I took the car to the garage because the rear sensors were not working. The switch in the Prius was better hidden than this one.
