Hi guys, first of all, I wish I could repay your favours by answering some questions on here but I don't know much about cars lol.

Anyway, does anyone know how many thousands of miles between oil changes on a petrol V-Matic 1.6 Auris 2012 ?

My car has done 4,000 miles since I bought it at Christmas, dealer told me every 9-10 thousand miles but I presume that's only if it had quality oil put in. So far my cars done 45k.

Cheers 😀

Service intervals are either every 12 months or 10,000 miles, whichever occurs first.

So if you do less than 10,000 miles per year, a service is due every 12 months.

If you do more than 10,000 miles per year, a service is due every 10,000 miles.

Had the car been serviced before you bought it?

Intermediate services are due at 1 year/10,000 miles, 3 years/30,000 miles, etc, with Full services due at 2 years/20,000 miles, 4 years/40,000 miles, etc.

Toyota's recommended oil is 0W-20 meeting API SL, SM or SN spec. No stipulation whether it should be semi or fully synthetic.

Yeah, I bought it from dealer and was serviced before I paid the full amount.

Nice one, cheers 😀
