Just bought Corolla

Wanted to know , does the Corolla have an alarm when you leave your lights on and noticed that when I reverse there is no alarm when you get too close. Looked through the manual but can’t find anything. Thanks

Welcome Denise....good choice..most vehicles have a "lights on" alarm/buzzer now should you inadvertently forget to switch them off.

Can only assume that the car simply isn't fitted with reversing proximity sensors.?..or are they fitted but not working.???..if so then there may well be a switch inside the car that turns the sensors on/off.

I'm not familiar with the Corolla I'm afraid.

Which country are you in - France? If it is a 2017, presume it may be the saloon.

My UK 04 one has a strong beep when I open drivers door with light on. Don't know about later models but I would assume it should.
