Hi guys, I have recently bought a Toyota Estima 2.4 hybrid, 85K milage. Do you know how long it takes for the log book to come? Also, I would appreciate some maintenance tips(ex.chain or belt, user manual in English, type of engine oil etc)  as I am new to Toyota and especially the hybrid system.

Usually V5C's (logbook) just take a few days to come through, but, in light of Coronavirus, it may currently take longer.

Shouldn't take that long tbh...I know beggar all about hybrids...the 2.4 is usually chain driven..and I always use a good quality fully synthetic oil 5w/30 all year round..some go for a  slightly thinner oil but I've always used 5w30

Parts can be a bit pricey and not always on the shelf, V5 - anything upto 6 weeks, post around here has been very slow

there are a few places that do hybrid pack rebuilds should you need it, if its got its original 12V Battery don't be surprised if it needs replacing, Its an AGM type made by Yuasa and 2-3 times the price of a standard Battery

Blueprint list plenty of service parts for these, some parts are japan only tho so have a look at buyee and/or croooober

Hi, you can get a user manual off eBay from autojapspares for £25 could be useful.

flash22, if it takes 6 weeks than for sure I will need to replace the 12V Battery.
