I got the above out today and found it does not work. Any ideas, plug into 12V socket switch on nothing, pressure release button works, but no power. Seems a sealed unit.

The power sockets on the Auris are 'live' only when the ignition is in 'Acc' or 'Ready', unlike plenty of other makes of cars.  It's not due to that is it?

No, I realized that.

If you have the tyre repair kit instead of the spacesaver, check the use by date of the sealant.

Some owners have replaced their sealant with the following, which includes the inflator - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Slime-CRK0305-Smart-Tyre-Repair/dp/B003QHY000/ref=sr_1_8?dchild=1&keywords=Tyre+repair+kit&qid=1592063494&sr=8-8

Yes, other items work fine from the same socket.

Thanks for that, seems to be the way to go.

i thought there may of been a fuse in the plug on the compressor

but toyota have been tight as a ducks and not fitted one

we carry a small non oem compressor and a can of tyre weld

as the tyre weld is around £8 / can and toyota / lexus will be £50 ish

for their can to fit on the oem compressor.

if you do have to use the oem bottle keep it so you can use

the compressor to inflate your tyres when you carry out your tyre

pressure checks.
