Fuel filter location and removal

Hi there. Im changing fuel pump so I thought i may aswell change fuel filter. Where is it located and how do i remove plz? Thank you

Hi,

Do not know if your model is the same ?   but the later ones the filter is  part of the fuel pump assembly in the fuel tank as shown in the pic below for a 2004 model

Just looked it up for the OP, it uses this type filter

It's bolted to the firewall/shock tower behind the air box, if the op follows the fuel line from the engine they should find it
