Fast DVLA!

I collected my new Corolla Excel HB from my local Toyota dealer on Saturday morning June 27. While there, the dealer completed the final registration paperwork with the DVLA, online. Today, Wednesday July 1, the V5C arrived in the post. The envelope showed it came 2nd class mail, suggesting it was mailed on Monday allowing two days for second class delivery.

I imagine the process is largely or wholly automated but nevertheless it's pretty fast!

It will be faster still when it's entirely digital, no pieces of paper to physically send in the post. That day can't be far off. 2025 I reckon.
