Suction Control Valve upgrade ?

Fourby4Diesel on youtube has put me on a hunt after watching his videos about scv. He says that these compact types are rubbish and strongly suggest to swap them out for a full size one with a adapter kit. But... He only talks about the 1KD and 2KD engines, i have a 2AD engine and have trouble finding a scv long type that fitts. Does 04226-0L010 fit in my dieselpump with number 22100-0R020 ? The compact scv has number 04226-0L030

The latest SCV part number for RAV4 is 04226-26030 which is unique to Rav4 the 04226-0L / 0R numers you list are older part numbers or for Auris/Avensis/Verso not for Rav

Installation of this valve should also include an Engine ECU software update which along with the modified valve doubles the cold start fuel pressure to prevent cold start issues.
