The Corolla was the best car I ever owned (reliability over fancy) but now I'm with a small VW and wanting to move back to Toyota so the Aygo (2014 - 2018) seems to be the pick. Gas economy, 5 doors, modern accessories, with main drawback being its safety crash test scores. That aside, main focus now is getting CarPlay in the car through a tablet, a dongle or whatever.
