Corolla Cross - will it be available in the EU (Denmark)?

Hi guys,

 

Within a year my 2013 Auris TS is due for replacement on an eight year "Car for Diasbled Driver", scheme. I'm very fond of the Corolla TS 1.8 but would, ideally, like a more SUV style body in order to get in and out of the car more easily.

I have seen various promotion YT videos from Toyota Thailand showing off their forthcoming Corolla Cross. With the exception of if having less boot space then the TS, 4xx liters vs 575 something on the TS, and the fact that I'm slightly skeptical as to whether the 1.8 122 BHP will be sufficient for it, It seems to tick A LOT of boxes for me.

Does anyone know if it will be available in Europe and at what time?

Currently it is in the same market sector as the C-HR, so I think it is doubtful, unless it replaces the C-HR, whenever that is.
