Rev 2 Turbo 0-60 Times

Hello all, ive just bought me 1st mr2 (2.0l turbo in white Rev2) and im wondering what the official 0 - 60 times is on this motor + whats the best way to mod to get 300 bhp out of me car. cheers :thumbsup:

0-60 for rev 1 and 2 are officially 5.7, you can get that down to early 5's with just upping the boost to 15psi. Best way to get to 300bhp? Be Jimlad :D :P

It's hard to match the quoted times though .. VERY hard .. 4 foot Japanise racing midget and no petrol hard ..

On a cold engine and a fully loaded car I managed a 6.00, 0-60 and that was with quite a bit of wheelspin.

With Mathias (Razor Rage) in the car we got it to very low 7's .. with loads of wheelspin ..

300bhp: Unichip, charge cooler, zorst w/decat, induction...

Should see you near 300 if not over...

I did 0-60 in 2.9 secs in my Rev3 tubby... then woke and fell in my cornflakes! :lol:

Iv'e managed a 5.7 on the g-tec.....cat back exhaust & intake on 14psi with a bogged launch.......that's in my Type III GT-S :)

I've had a 5.5, but never managed it again. Worn out tyres trying! Real fluke. :)

I think what we are saying is that 0-60's don't really make much differance without being a race driver ...

You got to be near enough the best driver in the world to get manufacturer's claimed 0-60 times... but not to worry, everyone's in the same boat! :lol:
