Anybody know the correct Battery size dimensions for the 1.8 T - Sport?

Seems to be a lot of mixed opinions on this. I have the Exide Premium 027 in mind as its the most powerful I believe for that size (640A). Not sure if it will fit though as www.tayna.co.uk states the correct dimensions are 175x210x190.

According to the site below, the dimensions that fit are 175x242x190

Not sure if the 242mm length will fit the standard Battery tray.....??

The 027 fits fine in our standard 1.6.

That Excide Battery seems expensive, up to £130 in some places ...?

We have used the Bosch or Varta ones, just a little less power , selling for about £65, 4 year warranty.

I've been recommended the bosche S5 by loads of people. About £60-£70. You want the biggest AH you can get for the Battery tray size 👍🏻
