Toyota Verso T spirit bar between back wheels rusted through

Hi,

I have a 2010 Toyota Verso T-spirit, the other day i heard a scraping noise on the road. after looking underneath i saw a rusty bit or metal hanging down... there is a bar that bolts between the back wheels on the chassis (nor rear subframe) and it has totally rusted through.. now i think its easy to replace... 3 large bolts either end but does anyone know what this metal bar is called and where i can get a replacement? failing this i'll go and try and get one from a scrap yard off of a Verso.

Thanks,

David.

Anti roll bar possibly.

Thanks but no it isn't. It's bolted to the chassis either end and not on the rear sub frame. Nothing to do with the wheels/roll bar. It's a rigid bar across the rear some sort of strengthening strut

Got it replaced at the last at the MOT, part was a special order from Toyota. Will see if I can find the invoice with details.

Had  mine replaced by Toyota dealership back in 2019 due MOT failure.

P/N's Brace-Sub Assy. 53605-0F010

About £190 for parts + Vat + Labour.
