Presume it is to disable the interior sensors of the car alarm. Useful if you have pets which you transport or leave in the car.

Moved to the Auris club.

as already been said its to disable the interior sensor

i.e. filling up with petrol with the kids in the car push the button then lock the car

once you unlock the car the interior sensor will be re enabled ready for you

to lock the car again later
