Thinking of buying a Rav 4

Hello All

Due to a growing family we've outgrown out current Mazda 3 and require a larger vehicle. I've had a Mk3 Prius and a Mk1 Auris HSD in the past and loved the hybrid system so we're thinking of swapping the Mazda for a Rav 4 Hybrid, probably a 2016 or 2017 year with mileage under 30k. The business Plus edition looks well spec'd and reasonably plentiful.

Have any owners got any feedback on what to look out for? I know the hybrid system is very reliable and that the 12v Battery can be a weakness, so hope that there are few issues. The car should be under warranty still so I'd want a full Toyota service history.

Incidentally the diesel could be an option but I'm unsure about the 2.0D4D unit. Is this sourced from BMW?

Thanks in advance :-)

Go for it, I made a move from Kuga to Rav4 and the best thing I have done.

My one is 2016 - D4D 2.0 diesel - Icon with all extra options TSS - touch to go.

Good mileage - nice car.
