Yaris 2015 Alarm Sentinal Light

Hello,

We have bought a second hand Yaris 2015 and have owned Toyotas before.

I note that when the door is locked using the key fob there is no indication on the dashboard (by a flashing light) that the alarm is enabled. On previous modles of Toyotas this has bben so.

Should there be a flashing light to indicate an armed alarm on the Yaris 2015?

It's not on the gauges, it in the front and centre of the dash (if fitted)

Probably don't have an alarm, just an immobiliser.

The LED is a theft deterrent the Yaris doesn't have an alarm from the factory not even on the excel
