Hey people.

Im having problems hooking up new oem radio head unit so if anyone could help i would be really happy.

I own Avensis,2006,2,2 adftv engine. Originaly it had fitted this HU.

Everything was working properly in this, but i wanted to have HU with lcd :) 

So i find my self oem radio from GT86 with this HU. Owner give me only HU without cables, so im trying to use original cables.

 

So to my problem. I plug 16 pins connector and radio start working at once. Ok nice :) Oh yeah forget to mention. I have to cut pin 8 on original connector(power supply ant amp) as i was getting no sound at all. As soon as i cut this pin sound started working.

This is what i found for this HU.

There was one connector left on upper pic left one 20 pin. As it didnt fit i left it blank. When i was testing i found out that steering wheels commands not working. Damn ... I want those :) So anyone know for 100% where can i hook those pins. I found out that pins for steering are 6,7,8. As far i can tell these 3 pins have to go to new HU

So i guess i have to hook 6,7,8 original pins to 21,22,23 on new HU. Is that right ? But i dont know which ones where 6,7,8 where to 21,22,23 ? I dont want to ruin anything :)

And one more question :) I want to hook rear camera and microphone. I think its on same connector. 

I got microphone left from yatour which i had it hooked to my first HU. Is there a way to hook that mic ? I can solder or better would be to hook female adapter of mic and just plug it in after making connection on 28 pin connector.

 

So if anyone would help me and confirm my predictions.
