Blue tinted exhaust emissions

My wife's 2012 Camry has started to use oil indicated by the tell-tale sign of a light blue tint to exhaust smoke when she first accelerates and when accelerating to increase speed quickly.  It just started doing this.  The oil never was low and I change the oil regularly.  Is it time to get rid of it or is it worth repairing?  Thanks.

My first thought is how much oil is being burnt.  Is it something you could just live with?  (Bearing in mind the car won't last for ever)

I had a vague blue haze develop on a Reliant Scimitar (Ford V6), which was only obvious when I started off from the lights.  I overhauled the engine, which cured it. I attributed the solution to my fitting Moggy 1000 valve stem oil seals to the heads, as Ford has not fitted any.  Oil was being drawn into the engine via worn valve stems/guides.
