Verso Blank panel on front doors

Hi,

I noticed there are a blank panel below the door card. Can someone confirm whether this is a like a light on a higher trim level. If so I'd consider upgrading them providing the wiring loom is already there

They are indeed an option you will have to pop the door card off and have a look it may be taped up unless you have a base level model

They are red in colour for a part number i would need your vin or model code (PM me)

@flash22  So I've just taken the door card out and all I can find is some wiring taped up, but there was no connector on the end I've took a photo of it, Is this it? Of so I probably don't fancy wiring a connector to it.

That is a ground, if you look at the link shows a connector near the window motor that can be tapped

Ahh I've just looked and I see the connector on that link. So as well as a puddle light I would need to buy a cable or make one to connect it up?

in a word yes, you will need to make some thing up

White/Black - ground

Pink - should be illumination 12v+

I decided to take a look at the drivers side and connector doesn't resemble the one in the link, perhaps the eastern Europeans have another spec after UK Icon. May be possible to tap into the motor or speaker. Cheers for you help anyway 👍

I'm looking to revisit the door lights, seen these on AliExpress. Has anyone installed something similar and via the interior lights? I'm very tempted to have a go. Here's a picture and link of what I'm considering

Hi, I'm looking at revising this yet again. I'm looking at buying the above puddle lights. I came across a video with some chap wiring led lights like this and was wondering if this is safe to do?

I finally got round to installing the courtesy lights. I hooked them up to the foot well lights. Very please with them
