Centre diff lock light flashing VSC off

I have a 2006 120 LC5 diesel.

The centre diff lock light is flashing all the time and the VSC Off light is on. I have gone through everything ...fuel cap, new airbag squib, cleared all the fault codes and it wont go away.

The car drives normally over long distances. The diff lock isnt engaged - I assume the actuator is seized, and pushing the button has no effect.  I have no VSC button.

Any ideas?

I have an LC3 and I have had problems in this vehicle with ABS and Brake warning light activated, and in my Rav4 with ABS, VSC and Brake warning lights. They both tied down to the brake switch on the footbrake. There are 4 wires and 4 contacts and if you are careful in dismantling the switch you may find that the heavy duty contacts are pitted and burned causing a bad connection. When they were cleaned, or a new brake switch fitted the problem disappeared. I don't know if this would be the same for the LC5 but it's an inexpensive check and may be worth a try.
