Hi , just joined after I bought a 1998 1.6Sr Corolla with 55k on the clock , 2 owners ,toolkit complete and all handbooks etc and it has the G6R interior in already ( just not the clocks) just tested it and all I did before test was replace both rear cylinders as the bleeders were solid so I could bleed the brakes ,straight through , no advisories  ,I have picked up bits and pieces including a front foglight kit and stalks , heated electric mirrors and control , celica steering wheel, G6r grill , G6r clocks , Tte rear spoiler ,set of Oz 16” 6 spoke alloy wheels . My aim is to work through it and resolve and correct any issues , put a stop to any rust deterioration, I will replace the exhaust with a custom stainless system

I have built several other cars inc offerings from the french car market

Thanks Neil, it will get done , just trying to stop myself turning it into a wrc replica lol , always fancied one , this one came up and I thought it was a decent buy , not too bad underneath , drivers sill seam being the worst offender ,probably need to find someone making sills for the 3 dr version (or I can just alter 5 dr ones if not able to locate)

Must be my weekend , just managed to get hold of a G6r strut brace and G6r gear lever surround , plus possibly found a g6r front spoiler and G6r sideskirts , now if only I can get a TTE or wrc front bumper to cross my path😎😎

Thought the wolfrace wheels and CD player were aftermarket add ons , but both are OE fitment , judging by the info in the brochure5737086E-5B0F-4571-AD63-AB6DFB820246.thumb.png.1d4a50267904a8017cc26134bb1e28a2.png  7F29CEFA-C982-448C-B72D-9CACDDAE9482.thumb.png.a089a37e0af7c45cc518d5d6551fa7cf.png

Welcome to the T.O.C. and that's a lovely looking Corolla.

Thanks , looked at a few before buying this one , I wanted a 1.6 rather than the 1.3 , two elderly owners , garaged most of its life , it’s not perfect , but is an excellent place to start

front wing has rust spots , and two places on bottom of drivers door , but I will cut the rust out and repair , wing I can just replace ( even found a genuine Toyota part )

Busy day yesterday , fitted G6r instrument cluster, plus all new bulbs  ( once I had transferred my original speedometer across) , added the front foglight switch equipped  stalk and the celica gt steering wheel , just awaiting the trd Badge for the wheel
