Would the 2016 upwards Aygo seats fit in the earlier models, say 2012 model?

Cheers

The seats would be the same across the Aygo/C1/108 ranges and the post 2018 facelift seats look the same as the pre 2018 facelift (2014-2018).

Hi Jimi,

I got my seats fitted from a 2017 Citroen C1 Furio at "Smallcarsrus" in Halesowen (Just off junctiion 2 on the M5) and they were fantastic!

Paula and Ric are a husband and wife team who specialise in the "Triplets" (Aygo/C1/107/8) and you just cannot go wrong with them.  To be honest, I heard about them from a guy called "Brixton Boy" on the City Bug site ( I browse but haven't joined) and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

It was well worth a 250 mile round trip and they fitted them in under an hour......Including the new gear knob!

The difference from the old seats is unbelievable, so much more comfy and supportive and an upgrade I would recommend to all mark 1 owners.

In fairness, I sought long and hard as mine is a 3 door, the 5 door seats are easier to find but for 3 door owners, the new seats make things so much easier.....Flip the handle next to the headrest and the seat tips and moves forward....push the seat back and...Hey Presto!....The seat is back where you left it....A total one hand operation.....The drivers seat is also height adjustable and the rear seats that were fitted at the same time are just perfection.

If only they had have been like that out of the factory!

Simple fit but what a difference....Go on, you know you want to! 😄

All the best, Matey

Thanks all for your input, again alot of good information to digest!

Agent Orange, those seats look inviting, need a good set like those, for some reason every Aygo ive seen the seats have some kind of drink stain on them and also mine when i bought it couple weeks back, this is my second car i use for the winter and emergency etc but has to be one of the best cars in the road so im slowly doing this car up for my personalisation etc..

Will definetly look into thise seats!! If you dont mind me asking, were seats pricey?

Thanks

Hi Jimi,

I don't mind you asking at all!....They were £250 for the full set, front and back.  I know what you mean about stained seats, I looked for about three years on eBay for some 3 door seats and to be honest, I was struggling, I could find plenty of 5 door seats but they and the odd 3 door set I found were cheaper but.....Let's just say, "Not very nice"!!!!

I actually got the seats fitted by "Smallcarsrus" and bought a leather and chrome gear knob (again from the Furio) and a very rare drivers door pull (The plastic cover) to replace my broken one, if I remember correctly, they charged me £40 to fit the seats, anyway I do know that the seats, the fitting , the gear knob and the door pull came to £340.

As I said, I could have possibly found cheaper but these seats are absolutely mint, so worth the extra pennies. Also Ric and Paula are fantastic people, really friendly and are experts in our little cars.

For cleaning upholstery, I've always found that "Demon Fabric upholstery cleaner" by Carplan is pretty good and smells nice and fresh too, if that's any help. It's also the best thing to get spaghetti sauce stains out of a white t-shirt!!!! :blushing:

Good luck with all your efforts, Jimi.....Take your time and you'll have a cracking little motor!

All the best.
