Sheared handbrake surround bolts

Hi. My friend and are idiots and managed to shear off the two bolts which secure the plastic handbrake surround to the floorpan.

For future reference I understand we should have tightened them slightly before unscrewing.

I have heard you can remove these by gripping a protruding other end from under the car instead of drilling them out - can anyone advise as I can't get under the car very easily right now.

Any advice/experience would be awesome 🙂 Thank you.

Centre punch it, drill it out use an easy out or left-handed tap, Idealy spray it with GT85 or similar (not WD40) and let it soak over night
