Engine “stuttering” over speed bumps/cornering

Hello, have a 1.4vvti e12 hatchback and was recently in a tip where I rear ended someone, I have fixed all the cosmetic damage now myself but recently the engine has started “chugging” when I corner hard and also over the occasional speed bump. The EMS light flickers on for about 5 seconds and it’s almost as if I have slipped the clutch when taking off, any suggestions as to what this might be? Thought it may have been something to do with oil or fuel pick up but I’m not a qualified mechanic. When the crash happened the top of the radiator mount bar was bent backwards but didn’t touch the radiator at any point so I thought I had gotten away without any engine damage. Any help is much appreciated thanks very much
