USB port

USB port does not fit usb stick very well and does not register has anybody else had this problem?

Is it a USB slot or just an Aux port missing its cover?

It is the slot itself works with iPhone but not usb sticks,i have trid several.Can not send a picture at moment.

...and just to be clear on what you mean by "does not register": 

  1. Take a USB stick, connect to a computer, transfer a series of audio files (e.g. MP3) to the stick
  2. Connect the USB stick to the slot in the car, turn on stereo
  3. Set stereo input mode to USB (not FM/DAB/CD etc.)
  4. After a minute (the stereo needs to read the list of file names), the files can be played through the stereo

what are you experiencing? What sort of files (e.g. .mp3, .wav) are you using?

The USB stick needs to be formatted in fat 32 on a PC (mac doesn't format in fat32 reliable) no bigger that 32gb as you are dealing with 10 year old hardware designs

What radio do you have, Touch2 ?
