New Aygo Rubber Suspension Damper Covering In Engine Bay Missing

Hi all,

Picked myself up a new Aygo a couple of weeks ago.

I was having a good look around it after giving it its first wash.
I noticed on one side of the engine bay has this rubber covering on the left hand side damper.
Although on the right hand side, it's not there.

Please see picture attached and circled areas.

What's it like on your Aygo fellow drivers? It would seem like an odd think to miss in assembly.

Thank you!

Already had such an enquiry if your Aygo is brand new it is not fitted, it was deleted in cars built from feb 2019 but only on the drivers side

Thanks for the replies Joe and Lee.

Curious Lee, how do you know this?
Not that I don't believe you, I'd like to know where to find this kind of information.

You get this sort of thing when they are coming to the end of a models cycle, they start to dwindle the parts stocks down

Nissan/Renault are well known for doing this esp with engine covers and storage trays
