Rear washer pipework grommet split - leaking into boot

Hi

2016 Yaris hatchback - the rear washer pipework has an angled grommet / adaptor which is leaking, giving water ingress around the ceiling seat belt holder.

Unable to locate a part number here in the UK. Found several US part numbers.

Anybody know where I can identify the part number online within the UK please? Simple enough job to replace, just need the correct part.

Image shows part shown on US websites

Thanks for reading.

Have you had a look at the item as there is also an elbow

lack of screen wash and just water it may have frozen and split

Thanks - it does squirt from within the elbow / grommet when rear wash is operated. Probably been doing it for a short while now - the area around the grommet hole is a little rusty too.

It's just difficult to locate the exact part number - I don't mind buying this and also the connecting elbows to eliminate.

Thank you - shame the detailed exploded diagrams aren't on UK websites.

Just call at your dealer and order one up, only about £3, or I can post one out but would have to charge postage

Check that your US part numbers aren't for the Mazda 2 based Yaris - so may be different to the European Yaris.

Postage won't break the bank - how can I take you up on this please?

Am I not reading this correctly, I think Chris is talking about a 2016 Yaris3.  Is this not covered under the 5 year warranty?

Wow Bos, I never even thought of the warranty.  Nice one thanks.

3 quid part in this current climate it may take you a while to get it fixed, warranty is only valid if it has had its year service done at a main stealer or done to dealer specs with oem parts (you have to prove it tho) by a vat registered garage

on the other hand if you have rust it needs to be check out

Part ordered - will check the feeling of rust when I pop the old grommet out. Thanks for all the help everyone.

Take care and keep safe.

If there is rust (for instance just around the hole where the grommet fits), it may only be covered under the paintwork and surface corrosion warranty (3 years), rather than the corrosion (perforation) warranty (12 years).
