lets have a go.................

op hit a deer, the car is not starting, the plugs are wet with fuel (flooded), and they are getting a spark

Op has.....................

Spark

fuel

that leaves intake and exhaust to check over

Okay, right, after reading your edited/reworded post and Bob's interpretation, can I ask if you've tried the 'clear flood' mode by pressing the accelerator pedal to the floor whilst cranking the engine over until it fires up?

I don't think the OP's said he's getting fuel. Could it be some sort of inertia switch cutting fuel?

An inertia switch will kill the power to the ecu so no spark

the OP uses the word "flooding" in the title

Need more info.

How long have you had the vehicle?

How much mileage has it covered?

Has it been serviced regularly?

Please provide more details for the accident and what damage was caused.

Has the problem just started since hitting the deer?

Has any parts been replaced eg spark plugs etc?

I just bought the car very little damage when it hits deer on the passenger side got the AC condenser and the radiator I bought it because my son rolled mine same exact year this one's got it all Electronics in it it's only got 159,000 miles on it other than that the car is in good shape I have not checked the fuel pressure but when you pull a spark plug out the number one when it's wet with fuel

That will wet the plugs, for sure!

It sounds like the mechanic who suggested it's a 'sensor' must have cleared the codes and because the engine will not run it won't be able to throw any codes.

Have you seen this car run or did you take ownership with it in this state?

If the car has not had regular oil changes then the vvti system could be wrecked, it does sound like a timing issue but it could also be a number of other things as well. I don't think you are going to get it fixed over a forum with limited details/information but we are willing to help out where we can.

How many keys came with the car, have you tried a different key?

It could be any number of things you need to look at the live data on a scan tool to work out what's going on

pick a starting point - crank sensor and is wiring

Also, what engine 1.3 or 1.5 ??
