GMS Gavin 0
Hi, not sure if this question has been asked before, but the car is getting ready for a new batttery. My first question, the car has start /stop technology, do you have to reset this? Or does it do it automatically? secondly, any recommendations on a Battery brand? Thanks. flash22 662
It depends on the car, what is the Battery model currently on the car ? Battery brands - i tend to go with Bosch s4, s5 or Varta, Yuasa is a good choice too
scannerman 21
The stopstart is a good guide to a dying Battery. When stopstart stops working as regularly as normal, I know the Battery is on its way out, not dead yet but on its way, so if you've got some frosty weather coming, be prepared. I buy Halfords Batteries, reasonable price and hassle free 4yr guarantee, and have no problems in the two cars I generally keep, obviously if you're selling the car soon, a cheaper option may be better.
