stantheman1 56 Posted January 4 Share Posted January 4 If you jack the front of the car up and remove the plastic under tray/belly you'll be able to access the +ve Battery terminal on the starter motor and then connect a Battery charger or 12 volt dc supply briefly on this terminal (the -ve to the chassis or even wheel nut) which should then allow you to unlock the car using the car's key/fob. That's what the AA will do. Hybrid vehicles may possibly require a different technique. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
flash22 656 Posted January 4 Share Posted January 4 Use the key in the fob ?? the lock may be stiff if it's not been used so spray some lube in it, you may need to use some grips to turn the key @stantheman1 the hybrid doesn't have a conventional starter it doesn't even have an aux belt Quote Link to post Share on other sites
