Jeremy1984 0
Hi! I have a 2010 Toyota Aygo Blue, which I understand to be chain-driven. Does anyone know then, why the engine squeals under the bonnet (worse in cold or wet weather) when: - I turn on the air conditioning (worst when I do this) - I turn on the fan - I accidentally switch into too high a gear (4 instead or 2 for eg) - Sometimes, just when I'm driving! Any help appreciated. A mechanic looked under the bonnet and told me that a belt (I forget which) looks brand new. It was gold serviced Jan 2020. Thank you so much in advance. Jeremy You just may need to adjust tension of the belt if doesn’t have auto adjustable tensioner.
Jeremy1984 0
Thanks guys. Is that easy to do?
TonyHSD 774
It is easy but watch some YouTube videos to get familiar with the task before attempt. If unsure ask some diy person for help.👍🚗
