Hi I'm from South Africa. I have a 2006 Yaris Sedan T3 spirit automatic. Recently I have been  having a problem with powerstweeing getting stiff when taking a turn. I changed the Battery and it is still happening. The goes vibrates a little before power steering goes out and comes back. Radio also affected aswell.

Do the headlights dim when it happens ? Check the alternator is putting out the correct voltage also check the fuse pack on the Battery terminal

You could also check the grounds/earth from the Battery and check the one from the engine to the frame/chassis
