Toyota Verso clutch

Hi there.

In august 2019, i bourght a 2 year old Verso which had gone 60000 km. Before christmas last year, the engine began to rev a little up when i acclerated, but only sometimes. I could drive a week without anything, and then suddenly, the engine goes up 500 rpm and down again when i accelerate.

The problem started just after a had a service at the dealer, but he says that he cant do anything to make the clutch do like this.

Is my clutch dead, or is there anything else i can do before i buy a new clutch?
