Toyota verso 2009 diesel 2.0 D4D crack but won't start

I have a problem with my Toyota verso, while I was driving with about 40 mph it lost power and died on the road with a white smoke coming out of the exhaust. I have it in toyota dealer garage and the guy said that the 4 injectors has to be changed because they give more fuel to the engine than it is needed, I have a bit knowledge of how the engine works and I have big doubts that all 4 injectors will fail at the same time. Any advise is welcome. Thanks in advance 

P. S. The car has done 53k miles
