Daniel Africa 0
Hi All, So im in a bit of a bind.. I have a 1998 RAV 4 in Malawi in Africa. Im currently back in the uk but the car anyway has broken down. My buddy cant get a straight answer from the mechanic and i was wondering if anyone here would know what part this is off. Orginally the mechanic said the gearbox pressure plate, ( as i am trying to get back out soon i want to bring a replacement with me) he now says its from the inside the 4 wheel diff. Its my go to car for africa as it is so nimble and manoeuvrable.. its the 3 door version with the electronic diff. would orginally be a Jap import like 90% of cars in Africa. any help would be amazing to find out what the part is and then afterwards to see if i can get a part here. ta
flash22 659
It looks like a center diff lock fork from the transfer case, without the vin finding the correct part will be hard eg, http://www.euro4x4parts.com/parts/tfo1008-2230_transfer_case_fork_41451-12010.html
