My 2018 passenger window is broken and my alarm didn't go off do I even have an alarm

My passenger window is broken into and my alarm didn't go off and I hit the button my doors are locked why did my alarm go off

If it was the interior button you hit, that would probably enable/disable the interior sensors.

If the button was in the disabled position when the window was broken, the alarm wouldn't have gone off.

When you pressed the button, you would have enabled the interior sensors, and if they had detected movement in the car (for example yourself), the alarm would have gone off.
