Does the Send to Car actually work? (Yaris Mk3)

I've tried to use the send to car feature in the toyota app, registered the touch 2 to the account, logged in with it on the vehicle but I can't find how to download the journeys I've sent.

I've tried following the guide here:

I get up to the part here:

Once that’s done, press the ‘NAV’ button on your Toyota’s Touch 2 with Go system. Choose ‘ENTER DESTINATION’, and then select ‘ADVANCED’.

I press the navigation button, the map comes up. press it again and get the screen to enter the destination. Nowhere is there an advanced button to be seen.

Does this feature actually work or have I wasted my money on the Go feature for no reason? I find that most of the POIs I search for, even well known ones don't show up at all even with the internet connected.

Am I missing something here or should I just go ahead and replace this unit with something else?

Have you logged in (on the touch 2 unit) to your account in the Toyota portal ?
Having done so, this is what the ‘guide’ says ....

Thanks for that. The Toyota account was already linked up but it was the 'Load POIs and Routes' button I was looking for.I've now got it working. Seems Toyota have updated the Touch 2 since the guide I linked in the original post.

Its a bit of an annoying workaround but it works.
