Hi All

My 2003 3 door, although beautiful inside and on top isn't that great underneath. I've purchased what i think is enough to replace and rectify the rust issues front and back.

Now i'm getting cold feet with replacing the front subframe. The back frame replacement, control arms etc doesn't bother me. Has anyone here done this before and is it such a mission as i've been advised. I already know that rusty bolts etc are going to test my patience.

If anyone has replaced a front subframe is there anything in particular that i need to be aware of when doing this?

As an alternative can anyone refer me to a good mechanic in either Glasgow or Edinburgh who could replace the subframe for me?
