H18 SFR 0
I have a great little runaround 2010, 126,000 mile, 1.33 vvt-i Yaris. Every panel was dinged and dented by the previous elderly owner so we managed to buy it dirt cheap last summer. It has a full service history, but I have noted that like many, it is a bit of an Oil burner. We have only put 3000 miles on it since its last service 10 months ago, what do folks recommend regarding the service cycle, wait until it has been a year or service it now so that it is a 10 month cycle etc? FROSTYBALLS 3,526
Stay with Toyota's service intervals - 12 months or 10,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
Madasafish 131
If you keep topping up with Oil, it's getting a partial Oil change in the year so 10k miles is adequate. Do ensure you use a good Oil filter- startups can kill an engine with low Oil pressure. I alwyas use a genuine Toyota one.
