Tyre Pressures ?

What tyre pressure is best for my 2011 Rav4 ?  It's  the SR model with the 18" wheels.

I currently have them 33 front and back.  However, 80% of the time, it's just me and my wife with no rear passengers.

Just interested in what is best ?

Best is what it says in the book (or on the door pillar) - which is probably 33 all round. You'd want to go higher - again as it says in the book - if you were carry excessive loads or travelling at excessive speeds. So you are probably right at where you are now.

If you want a more compliant ride, you probably want more compliant tyres (but still at 33 psi).

If you want better fuel economy, you might increase the pressure to 35 or 36 psi ... but I rather doubt that is what you are after! 😉

I have Goodyear Efficient Grip SUV 4x4 235/55 R18 all-round, so as you say 33 psi is probably ok, I just thought I'd check.

Thanks
