Hello. 🙂
New to the team, I acquired the 2013 Toyota Avensis Combi yesterday and discovered that it does not have GPS capability. Someone I asked (he has a mazda) told me that it is not possible to connect to the car's GPS if I don't contact Toyota who will install the program that will obviously cost me ...
Is there another way?
Thanks in advance. 🙂

Which country are you in?

Your multimedia unit should be a Touch 2. The sat nav function is provided by an add-on module (Go) rather than a program to download, so this would need to be purchased and installed. Used units will be cheaper than buying new from Toyota.

That's what I wanted to know.
So, there is no way to bypass the system...

Pity when you think that it has the button and the touch screen ready, but won't give it to you unless you pay more.. Oh well. 😞

Thank you for your help Mike. ☺️

Looking forward to future posts. 👋

I got my whole touch&go headunit including navi module 200 euros and it was great condition. And if You buy that navi module You also should get gps antenna to it.

It is the part that makes the touch screen and button do something ie be a sat nav.
