After installation of one of the cheap Amazon rear parking sensor kits a couple of warning lights have come up on the dash.

The red ! one and the Yellow engine light any idea what could be causing them?

The connecter that goes to the N/s rear light looks a bit worn….is it possible to buy a replacement or that small part of the wiring loom?

Thanks for any advice.

It doesn't look worn, it looks like the wiring has been attacked. That needs a proper repair with the wiring cutting back to sound insulation.

Any idea where you can buy the parts or the part number would be a big help?

I'm afraid not. I think your best bet would be to enquire from an automotive electrical specialist. You could try searching for 'automotive electrical connectors' in the hope of spotting something.

Or maybe getting that section of the rear wiring from a local scrap yard? Or smallcarsrus.co.uk

That connector with those wires looks really hacked up. Multiple injuries! How did that happen? Best place to look for that connector would be the car breakers yard as some one suggested above.
