Touch and Go Dim when headlights are on

Hi

The display on my sat nav all but disappears when I put my head lights on, you'd think that it would stay bright if it's dark! Any help would be much appreciated please

Wrong thinking, dimming at night time is a norm. I would be surprised the dashboard lights don’t dim as well, they usually do.
