Steering Wheel Nut Thread/Size

Recommended Posts

I have been trying to find out the size and thread of the main nut that holds the steering wheel on in the mk2 Yaris. I found the part number for the nut on this website here - https://toyota-europe.epc-data.com/yaris/ksp90r/458/chassis/4504/45201P/

Despite finding the part number I couldn't find out what size the actual nut is. If anyone knows then any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

You will not find it, you will need a vernier or micrometer and a thread gauge

the nut will also be graded (strength)

the nut is used on a lot of cars - that number has been superseded with 90179-12071

£7-8 from a dealer

Okay cheers. My dad or grandad might have a thread gauge and they'll definitely have vernier callipers so I'll ask one of them to take a look at it next time I see them.
