Prius plus 7 seater has a dedicated space for that under the boot floor close to where tailgate closes, on Corolla it looks like there is something like separate cover with handle close to the rear seat backrest., you can check that in case is similar to the Prius , no idea if it’s the same or serve different purpose. 👍

There's a useful (removable) plastic storage box with lid immediately behind the rear seats but its not big enough for the luggage cover.

That (removable) pocket has two separate compartments in it. I use it for a small tarpaulin and a windscreen frost guard.

The retractable luggage cover and the net fits under the boot floor easily when it’s in the level position.

The boot area in the TS is really good for storage pockets & features - especially the 2.0 which has loads of storage around the 12v Battery

The 2.0 may have "loads of storage around the 12v battery" but the 1.8 has the 12v Battery under the bonnet and the whole space behind the RHS wheel arch is available for luggage, exactly mirroring the space behind the LHS wheel arch!

Can’t argue with you Geoff, however the opening for the 12v Battery goes right over the wheel arch, so although you lose the space occupied by the Battery, you gain extra enclosed storage in that compartment. Personally I prefer that bit being enclosed as it’s more useful to me for storing smaller objects - jump leads, hi-vis vest etc, than it would be as part of the main boot area which is usually used for more ‘square’ luggage - suitcases, boxes etc.
