2021 Active Audio question

Hi guys, so new Toyota owner, always used Jet as my music player, but my new phone doesn't have Google Play Store so been using Huawei's built in player. Just found a way to download & install so have bought it again. All set up no problem, but... new phone and new Toyota car. When I switch on car it finds phone & player but the display flashes Pause! The only way to start the music is press play on phone. I can't find anything in the car to help and the manual is not helpful. I can't make heads or tails out of the display options either - not in manual? So 70 year old newbie... go easy please, any suggestions welcome, maybe audio issue first and another post about the ECO display and moving bars 😁😕😁
